Terracotta figure in reddish tones of the Goddess Cibeles Made by the Spanish sculptor born in Barcelona, Agapito Vallmitjana (1833-1905).

This famous sculptor has represented in this medium-sized figure the Greek Goddess Cibeles, mother of the earth and animals, especially lions and bees. She was also considered the goddess of abundance and fertility, but also extremely beautiful.

Terracotta is in perfect condition and signed at the base of it.
