Guilded bronze mantel clock from the french Empire period, with enameled dial and Breguet type hands.
It is a large format clock -48 cm high/19 in.- that at the base presents a frieze with a gallant scene of lovers in a romantic attitude and a sweetheart approaching them as proof of their love; on this frieze is the sphere surrounded by a warrior sitting on one side, with his foot resting on a stool and on the other side his shield and helmet.
The clock has beeps and is in the running state.
Small flaws of use.
