Pair of bronze vases patinated and gilded to mercury, with an ovoid shape. They have a rich ornamentation with a very fine chiseled in glossy and matt gold.
The vases are from the end of the Empire or beginning of the Restoration period, 1810-1820 .. These decorative objects have a beautiful quality of execution and a high quality gold that reminds of those of the great Parisian broncists of the period (Thomire, Ravrio, etc.)
Excellent state of conservation, with a nice patina and a very well-preserved dorado without uses, only has a small lack in the central decoration of one of the two vases.
